Love Like Glass

_{EDIT: I reread the contest requirements and realized I didn't have a background, so I drew one quick. oops!}

This is my entry for #Detective-Conan-Fans contest! I happened to be flipping through my blue fairy book, looking for a good fairy tale to use for my picture, and I found "The Princess on the Glass Hill"! [link] I knew it was perfect because not only were there golden apples like in the real manga, but it works out so Shinichi can be the hero, Cinderlad, and Ran the princess. (I guess that makes Shinichi a boy Cinderella haha)

yet again I made another weird title trying to reference the fairy tale and Shinichi and Ran's delicate relationship. Sigh, why are these things so hard to make up?? -_-

also I'm really picky about doing my research but I couldn't find a date for when the fairytale was written so I just threw caution to the wind and based Ran's dress on this random picture I found >>> [link]
