Description

I was actually imagining a fanfiction about Ponyo and Sosuke in their teens (because I love thinking about mermaid-ish stories) and she popped into my head like this! I just had to draw her. I imagine her just as head-stong and cheerful as she was as a little kid, and maybe even more!

I threw that gold pendant on her just because it seemed like something her dad would have given her :)

She has so much expression! Everything about her posture just screams confidence. I like the washed-out sketchy style this is done in a lot, too. Ponyo weirded me out a little because they were just little kids, but I love this portrayal.
